We respect your privacy.
PickFret is a learning app in early access. If you join the waitlist, we treat your email as a trust, not a lead list. We use it only to run PickFret—welcome you, invite you when access opens, and share a few product updates that help you learn. We do not sell your address, rent it, or pass it to advertisers.
What we collect
When you join, we keep your email address, the time you signed up, and the version of this notice you agreed to. If you answer the optional question about what you want to learn, we keep that answer so we can plan better lessons. That is the personal information we hold about waitlist members.
How we use your email
We send product-related messages only: a welcome note, your early-access invite, and occasional updates about PickFret itself. We do not send unrelated newsletters, partner promotions, or third-party offers. Every message includes a clear unsubscribe link. If you unsubscribe, we stop emailing you; your original signup record may remain until you ask us to delete it.
Who helps us
Our website and waitlist are hosted on Cloudflare. Email is delivered through our email provider, which also manages unsubscribe requests. These companies process your details only to provide those services to us, under their own terms and security practices.
How we measure the site
To see whether the page is useful, we may record a few anonymous events—such as a visit, a try of the lesson demo, a signup attempt, a successful signup, or an optional learning answer. Events use a random ID that lasts for that visit only. We do not attach your email, the text you type in the email field, or your IP address to those events. We do not record sessions, and we do not use analytics cookies.
If you arrived from a campaign link, we may note basic source labels with your signup so we know which message worked. We keep the name of the referring site, not the full page address. If your browser sends a Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control signal, we turn analytics off for you.
Keeping the form safe
Cloudflare helps us host the site, limit abuse, and block automated spam. We do not store raw IP addresses in the waitlist itself.
Your choices
Unsubscribe from any PickFret email to stop future messages. To delete your waitlist record, reply to your welcome email and ask us to remove it—we will. We keep waitlist records while early access is running, and we review inactive records after 12 months.
